Kumaika maintains a strict no-return/no-exchange policy for change-of-mind or sizing issues, emphasizing customer responsibility during the purchase. Returns are only permitted for damaged, defective, or incorrect items, provided they are reported within 24–48 hours and returned within 7 days in original condition. Crucially, a mandatory unboxing video is required to validate any damage claims. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method or store credit, and cancellations are only allowed within 12 hours of ordering.

At Kumaika, we take immense pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our ethnic wear. To maintain our high standards and offer competitive pricing, we operate under a specific set of guidelines regarding returns and refunds.

1. Final Sale & Purchase Responsibility

Please note that all sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind.

  • Sizing issues (please refer to our size guides carefully before ordering).

  • Variation in color or fabric feel (as these can vary slightly due to digital screens).

We strongly encourage our customers to meticulously review the product descriptions, fabric details, sizing charts, and images before finalizing an order.

2. Exceptions: Damaged or Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we are committed to resolving the issue.

  • Reporting Window: Issues must be reported within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.

  • Return Timeline: Once approved, the item must be returned within 7 days.

  • Condition: Products must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags attached.

3. Mandatory Unboxing Video

To protect both the customer and the brand, an unboxing video is strictly compulsory for any claims regarding damage or missing items. The video must:

  1. Begin with the sealed package clearly visible.

  2. Capture the entire opening process without any cuts or edits.

  3. Clearly highlight the specific damage or the incorrect item received. Requests submitted without a valid unboxing video cannot be processed for review.

4. Refund Process

  • Inspection: Upon receiving your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Method: Approved refunds are issued via your original payment method or as store credit, based on your preference.

  • Timeline: Please allow 5–7 business days for the credit to appear in your account.

5. Return Shipping

In cases where Kumaika is at fault (wrong or damaged item), we will bear the return shipping costs.

6. Order Cancellations

As we aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours, cancellations are only accepted within 12 hours of order placement. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
